Summer may be gone, but those warm Autumn days are perfect for this project we’ve just done! Yes, we got our hands on the 2012 BMW 650i Convertible and decided to go all out on with a set of lightweight D2FORGED CV3-LP wheels! With our LitePack technology used on this set of wheels, getting increased performance and less weight on concave setups like this is no problem!
Together with the customer, we went with a 21″ setup, consisting of a 21×9″ front axle option and 21×10.5″ rear axle option, coming together to create a perfect balance of size, fitment, performance and concavity! This 650i Convertible is a combination of silver exterior together with a black cloth roof, so going with a color combination of a Titanium Brushed Center and a Hi-Polished lip was a no brainer! Protecting this fine color finish from the elements is done by applying a ceramic clearcoat on both!
These wheels fit on this application with no fender rubbing, no modification is required, with direct fitment requiring no spacers, hubrings or etc. OEM tire pressure monitors are accepted without an issue. By using our custom Light-Pack Option for less weight and increased performance, applying a perfectly matched paint finish, this convertible is now ready for any event, drive or just simple admiring.
