Creating wheels for a rolling piece of art isn’t easy. We’ve all seen attempts in the past, some of which did a decent job, but never covered all the proper points completely! Design, fitment and craftsmanship the key aspects of our focus with any vehicle that we craft wheels for, but its especially crucial with a car like this!
The Maserati Quattroporte may not be the fastest executive luxury sedan, but its damn sure the sexiest and it packs a punch! The Ferrari derived engine, Duo-Select clutchl-ess manual transmission and spine tingling exhaust note inject this big sedan with something many others are missing, passion.
Our key objectives were to design a wheel that flowed with the beautiful lines of the car, while also maintaining its performance and not making the 4.2 liter V8 work too hard! The complex Skyhook adjustable coilover suspension and fender clearances of the car were also challenges that we needed to overcome.
Our CV3-LP (LitePack) wheels was the obvious choice. Deep concave design, sexy step lip and weight optimization program, in 3pc construction. Our LitePack Program yields deep concavity without the extra weight that comes with the typical deep concave forging. These wheels are rated at 25lbs for the front 22×9.0″ and 27lbs for the rear 22×10.5″ which is around 12 kilograms for our European fans. The finish package for this particular set is simple but beautiful, consisting of metallic silver center finish with hi-polished lip, finished with a ceramic clearcoat to ensure great looks and endurance from the daily drive wear & tear.
