With the everlasting debate in the car world whether big and powerful american V8′s are what’s needed in racing events like the Formula Drift, we got our take on the matter with this video from Peter Chaney. He takes his camera and videography skills to the Formula Drift scene and in talks with Drifting legends and champions discusses the need for power.
Whether the guys run on four, six or eight cylinder engines, each of the ideas in it tells us a different story. As Peter Chaney describes it: “All season long there has been chatter and debates on forums and at drift events since the V8 masses have been dominating the podiums.
I noticed all of the talk back in Palm Beach so I decided to sit and talk with a few drivers with V8′s and some with 4′s and 6′s and just get the opinions of the drivers. I didn’t have time to shoot the interviews in Jersey but I was able to sit down and talk with Tony Angelo, Rhys Millen, Pat Mordaunt, and Corey Hosford in Seattle at Evergreen Speedway.”
