Oh how we love this time of the year! A little chill in the air and all the festivities are underway. With all the excitement, travel, parties and bubbly TheD2Life always like to take a moment to give back to others.
D2′s very own Mr. Gilbert Rivera Jr. aka “Swagzilla” and his family honored his dad Mr.Gilbert Rivera Sr. at the opening of the breast cancer center, “The Gilbert Rivera Pavillion” at the Maimonides hospital in Brooklyn, New York. The late Mr. Rivera Sr. was a prominent businessman and leader in his Brooklyn community who believed in working together to positively influence one’s community, improving the welfare of children, education and health.
The new cancer center supports Mr. Rivera’s beliefs and provides top notch care to it’s patients fulfilling the dire need for such a facility in Brooklyn.
We are extremely proud to have Gilbert Rivera Jr./ “Swagzilla” as a part of TheD2Life and applaud him and his family for carrying on the legacy of his dad by always taking the time to give back to the community. A community which is dear to D2, as we grew up there as well.
