On Thursday Morning around 10am we thought that the close of summer is upon us and we haven’t done anything crazy for our followers. So we began to brain storm ideas to see what we could come up with for our thurday night meet. Ideas like, burnout contest = NO, Tshirt give away = Not crazy at all, Strippers = Too crazy, Dance contest = Wack, Wet T-Shirt Contest = PERFECT.
After a few phone calls and text messages, we decieded to go for it, we were going to have a wet t-shirt contest that night. The time line broke down like this:
11:30 am – goes up on facebook and twitter
12:00 pm – a mass text is sent out
12: 30 pm – the “is this a joke” reply texts comes back
12:45 pm – “No this is really happening” text goes out
1:30 pm – Facebook post goes viral, reposts of our original post is found on multiple facebook pages
2:30 pm – A post with a image of the prize money is posted on facebook
6:30 pm- We visit the MAC Thursday night meet a few cars deep, we get asked “is this a joke”, we reply NO.
10:00 pm – We have approx 300 cars, and countless amounts of people at our office waiting for the show to start
10:30 pm : This Happens:
